Typical work activities usually include

* Manages the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions through all stages of the software development life cycle

* Architect complex Business Intelligence solutions to satisfy business requirements

* Develops complex ETL, cube, and management reports

* Development of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for management reporting

* Coordinates development activities with developers, analysts, and consultants

* Documentation of the entire Business Intelligence solution

* Collaborates proactively with business users and IT staff to analyze, design and implement changes that will improve reporting efficiency and/or improve data quality in source systems

* Ensures data is properly secured at all time

* Day to day support of management reporting system, including handling user requests, ad-hoc queries, report requests, monitoring of exceptions logs, data extracts, etc

Desired/ Required:

* Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science; or equivalent education/experience in the information technology field

* 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server database development or administration experience

* 4+ years of experience delivering solutions utilizing the entire Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS)

* Demonstrated ability to work with all levels for management to gather requirements

* Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner

* Demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environment

* Proven track record of delivering Business Intelligence solutions and manage all aspects of the software development life cycle

* Knowledge of natural gas production and processing preferred

* Knowledge of accounting transaction and principles

* Customer Focus - understands and meets needs of customers

* Innovation/Improvement - sets up continuous improvements/change processes and benchmarks; finds more effective ways of doing things
