Our client is a provider of Gateway solutions, Set Top Boxes and Modems. They are looking for a VOIP Software Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job purpose:
Software development on voice related protocols

Responsibilities:
Develop and debug Embedded SW, mainly in C/C++ using advanced tools and Real Time operating systems (Embedded Linux)
Being critical towards your own code you understand the importance of module testing and bug fixing before implementation
You are highly committed to deliver top quality software
Write design documents/Code reading documents

PROFILE:

Education:
- Industrial Engineer or Masters degree in Electronics/ICT or equal by experience

Experience:
- 1 to 3 years relevant experience in Embedded SW development

Technical skills:

- Programming languages: C/C++
- Operating systems: Linux, RTEMS
- Development environment: Linux/Unix, ClearCase, zsh, bash,
- Software concepts: multi-threading, network programming, Client Server applications
- VOIP application related development: SIP, MGCP, H323
- Toolchain: GNU (gcc, gdb), Lauterbach/JTAG
- Networking: knowledge of data communication concepts and services applicable for TCP/IP stacks - ETH, VLAN, IPv4/v6 Routing, Bridging, HTTP, SOAP, Firewall, NAT,

Key competences:

- Driven, takes responsibility

- Communicative in multi-cultural environment; integrates easily in a team
