Function Information
The IT Project Manager is accountable for the delivery of IT projects within Raytheon UK. He/She ensures that project
deliverables are fit for purpose and delivered on time. The IT Project Manager will be proactive in the management of
risk and opportunities and will be a first class communicator. The role will be responsible to manage the planning (incl
communication plan) and deployment of IT Projects.

Accountabilities:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of the Windows & project but may assigned to manage projects from
across the portfolio of projects delivered by Raytheon IT:

* To deliver IT Projects ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

Coordinate relationships with and between key technical teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders, through the
project lifecycle.
Communication of Project delivery progress and ensuring that Project milestones are met.

Ensure project documentation is conducted in accordance with best practice and is fully documented and supportable, in
accordance with Raytheon UK processes (including IPDS in IT & ITIL), to meet customer and IT security requirements.

* Ensure that the IT solutions comply with the necessary Security Standards and work with IT Security to ensure that the
necessary security documentation is produced (e.g. Accreditation Document Set).

Competencies:
Proven experience of leading the Project Management of complex IT Projects in a security controlled environment.
Excellent Negotiation Skills
* Proven Prince 2 (or comparable) Project Management skills supported with formal qualifications
Proactive Stakeholder Management
Can demonstrate an understanding of ITIL V3 Functions & Processes
A full understanding and appreciation of Operational Support and post production sustainment
UK Security Clearance will be required (we will sponsor this for applicants who do not already hold it)
Financial Management of assigned tasks
Management of specialist suppliers and consultants e.g. Microsoft

Key Responsibilities and Activities
Primary responsibility for delivery of the IT Projects
Drives the project to meet the deadlines set at the outset
Communication of progress against Project deliverables
Interface with IT Security to ensure projects are on track and IA approved solutions.
Provision of data and Key Metrics to ensure the project is managed in a pro active manner.
Champions' processes and procedures to ensure standards are maintained and improved. (e.g. IPDS in IT and ITIL)
Adoption of the Raytheon Project Management methodology to ensure Raytheon UK can deploy suitable technology in a
controlled manner.
Documentation of Technical solutions to ensure the service can be transitioned successfully to Operations & Support.
