Software Development Manager ( ASP.NET, VB6, SQL Server ) required.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, reputable and growing Stockton-on-Tees based organisation. This position offers candidates with solid Software Development Management experience to progress their career and be at the leading edge of innovative business critical software applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing, a development team, Implementation management, and project management. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the success for the company's full software development process and be able to develop each projects strategy, changes and improvements. You will also be able to define the project requirements and convey them to the development team accordingly.
Essentially, this is role will involve developing, running and monitoring the development team as well as reporting progress to the line manager. Although not a "hands on" technical development role , the successful candidate will have development exposure to software technologies including Microsoft ASP.NET, VB6 and SQL Server.
You will have excellent team leadership and man management skills. You also will be an excellent communicator as some client facing will be required.
We are looking for candidates with proven skills in the following areas: Software Development Manager, project management, , budgeting, team leadership, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, SQL Server and software implementation.
