Our Clients are global engineering consultancy, service and solution providers, supporting clients in the offshore oil
and gas industries.

The job:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corrosion Engineer with a demonstrable background in operational service
delivery to the Oil and Gas Industry. He or she will work in a dedicated team providing specialist technical advice and
support to project teams and directly to customers in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Activities include:

* Materials Selection and Review of Design Basis/Materials Suitability.
* Corrosion Risk Assessment
* Corrosion Management Systems/Strategies.
* Risk Based Inspection and Failure Investigation.
* Cathodic Protection and Coatings.
* Corrosion Awareness and Technical Skills Training.
* Provision of Ad-hoc Consultancy / Troubleshooting (Process Investigation, Monitoring, Sampling, Mitigation etc.).
* Supervising Junior Engineers and Technical Assistants when required.

Qualifications and experience:

* Relevant Degree in Engineering e.g. Mechanical, Corrosion, Materials Science
* 5 years relevant experience, ideally in the offshore oil and gas industry.
* Hold a UK driving licence
* Strong command of the English language
* Good attention to detail, able to write clear, concise and accurate reports and also interpret reports from 3rd
parties.
