An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, high calibre Mathematics Graduate to join an award winning, market leading Financial Services firm based in Manchester. The client is on track to quintuple their EBITDA this year and require a first-rate individual capable of stepping into a fast-paced environment to use their analytical skill-set to drive effective strategy decision-making. The position will see you sat in a central function within the Strategy and Analytics function. Using SQL, VBA, SAS and further bespoke analytical tools you will carry out in-depth analysis, in order to create full MI suits serving as a method of driving the business activity and strategic direction. The client will provide full training with SQL and SAS initially and ongoing development throughout your career. The ideal candidate will have a superior academic background with a degree in Mathematics, exceptional Excel skills and a strong interest in asset management and investment. Due to the large element of reporting and stakeholder interaction, excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. A good, well-rounded character is required on top of your on-paper qualities as well as the drive and ambition to Excel.
