Product Designer required for an expanding company in Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an award winning and growing business.

Profile: Product Designer

Location: Oxfordshire

Salary 20500 per annum plus benefits.

Education: Degree qualified in Product Design or Industrial Design, or similar discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 1 years relevant work experience within a relevant professional environment preferably within construction or architecture. A technical background with knowledge of sheet metal fabrications desirable.

Skills: A good working knowledge of 3D CAD software essential, good working knowledge of SolidWorks (or similar software, e.g. AutoCAD or ProEngineer) desirable.

The Product Designer will successfully capture the customer's needs, providing project support and technical advice where required during the project lifeline .

The Product Designer will assist with the design, development and detailing of architectural solutions and products ) to the customer's specification.

The Product Designer will work closely with the customer and internal departments in establishing the feasibility and realisation of product enquiries, will susbsequently promote the company brand through the production of presentation visuals and animations to present to potential customers, assist in the daily project management and administration of future projects as directed and support and assist other team members with project support where required .

The Product Designer will have responsibility in managing their own workload in order to meet agreed deadlines, and will therefore be organised and self-motivated. The Product Designer will be creative with excellent problem solving skills; confident in 'thinking outside the box' and have a good working knowledge of 3D CAD software.
