Assembly Methods Engineer/ Manufacturing Engineer required for a leading company in Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing business.

Profile: Assembly Methods Engineer

Location: Gloucestershire.

Education: Educated to degree level/ HND or equivalent in engineering related discipline desirable

Experience: 2 years related experience and possess knowledge of production assembly. Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic & electrical engineering fundamentals is essential as well as an understanding of assembly practices

The Assembly Methods Engineer will decide appropriate assembly methods, write assembly layouts and other associated documentation including designing appropriate jigs and tooling, research and implement new products and technologies for the assembly environment and to improve assembly methods and processes.

The Assembly Methods Engineer will advise and support all assembly and in-service areas, liaising with other teams and involved disciplines and will encourage, support and be accountable for initiatives to improve Quality, Cost, Delivery, Health, Safety and Environmental performance.


The Assembly Methods Engineer will be highly PC literate with problem solving, decision making, communication and influencing skills able to liaise with customers and suppliers alike as some travel may be involved.
