On behalf of our client, an international company based in Basel, we are currently seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator. This position is based in Basel, Switzerland and is a contract for 6 weeks with the option to extend, starting ASAP.
In this senior position you will take over operations of a challenging environment. Furthermore you will be able to manage projects regarding migration, design review and optimization.
For this challenging role you need to fulfil these requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration
- Good knowledge of Windows Clustering (W2K8 R2)
- Knowledge of MS SQL 2008 R2 and 2012
- Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is a big plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
