Insurance Software (.Net) Technical Analyst/Designer - Basildon - Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET & Silverlight Analyst Developer/Designer for the Xchanging Insurance and Technology organisation.

The Senior Developer will provide technical analysis and design support for any application development through the production of technical documentation and programming when required. They will also identify areas for improvement in the development/design and communicate this information clearly and succinctly.

The Lead Software Engineer is expected to:

Design logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
Work closely with programmers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
Identify areas for improvement in the development/design and communicate this information clearly and succinctly
Ensuring that the ISW processes are adhered to, proposing improvements where applicable.

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include the following:

-Strong development experience in C# .NET 3.5, Silverlight, WPF, WCF
-Experience of MS SQL Server
-Varied Application Knowledge
-Object-Oriented Development Skills
-Analysis & Design skills, preferably in Enterprise Application solutions
-Ability to locate and determine issues in an application.
-Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
-Problem solving skills
-Works well within a team
-Self-motivated
