An excellent opportunity has arisen within a well known international brand for a Senior Compliance Lawyer who has experience in oil & gas, regulation, policies and procedures.

The role will be supporting the General Counsel and the wider business in developing awareness of relevant legal, compliance and regulatory issues across the organisation.

You will be expected to support the legal function in developing the team to be a valuable proactive and customer-orientated resource to support the needs of the business.

We are looking for someone with minimum 5 years experience in advising on compliance and risk within a business, as well as developing new practise's and procedures.

The role will involve the;
- Provision of legal compliance support and advice to the organisation

- Maintenance and development of existing compliance policies and procedures to prevent illegal, unethical or improper conduct within the organisation

-Coordination of compliance activities across the business, including the implementation of training programmes and due diligence work

-Regular review and evaluation of compliance processes to guarantee best practice across all areas of the organisation

-Management of key stakeholders to ensure their support of and alignment with the Compliance Programme's objectives and requirements
