Our client is an asbestos consultancy providing a range of asbestos and environmental services to clients nationwide.
Due to expanding work load, they are presently looking for an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their busy laboratory/team in Scotland.
The successful candidate must hold the Asbestos P401 qualification and must have at least six month' previous experience in working in a laboratory environment and within the asbestos sector.
Main Responsibilities:
Receiving and appropriately logging samples received by the laboratory.
Preparing samples of analysis, carrying out analysis of samples for fibre content, reporting analytical findings and typing certificates of analysis.
Getting involved with other laboratory duties.
In general, you will be flexible, have good work ethics, have good communication/organizational skills and have the ability to work unsupervised.
