In-house Solicitor, West Yorkshire - The main purpose of this role is to deliver legal services as directed by the Head of Legal. Within this role your responsibilities will include managing all matters involving complex title disputes, providing advice to different business areas relating to changes in the financial services sector and providing a legal referral service for Mortgage Lending, Mortgage Services, Investments, call centre and the branch network. You will also be expected to review commercial contracts, assist in the implementation of projects and maintain and develop relationships with individuals from the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor and will have worked within a similar role previously. Highly organised, you will have excellent time management skills and you will be capable of planning and prioritising your workload effectively. Professional at all times, you will be capable of working under pressure and you will be a strong communicator who is confident when dealing with people at all levels. It is essential that you have the ability to handle conflict and provide advice in a calm, appropriate and timely manner.
