Finance Commercial Manager
Based in Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: c.35,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your career. Acting as the key interface between operations, finance and the Client, the CFM is a key member of the management team, with a major opportunity to influence, develop and implement the Contract finance strategy.

Main Duties will include:
*Providing strong financial leadership, accurate reporting, strict working capital management, with business impacting analysis to the contract management. All reporting will require strict adherence to tight timescales and hence right first time and on time will be essential.
*Finance Lead covering financial control, management accounting, MI reporting and business performance reporting and commercial management.
*Liaising with the client on operational, financial and strategic matters including application, billing, open book audit and review of annual spend.
*As a true business partner to the Account Director and the Management Team, assess Contract performance against both the annual budget and Client's long-term strategy.
*Engage the Contract Management Team around issues, trends, and changes in the operating models and operational delivery.

The successful candidate will:
*Preferably a qualified accountant, looking to pursue a career in a commercial role
*Proven financial and contract management experience as well as the ability to think strategically.
*Innovative - ability to continually assess and improve finance process, accuracy of the accounts and the analysis provided to management and client
*Excellent communication skills, in a variety of contexts, with experience of presenting and reporting to a Senior Management Team.
*Ability to build effective working relationships and strategic partnerships, externally and across the Contract with a collaborative approach
*Ability to analyse and evaluate large volumes of information to make balanced judgements and decisions
