PCB Test/Project Engineer

Reporting to the Test Development Manager, this vital role is designed to directly support the growth of the business by planning and executing the project pipeline for GT8, Olympian and PV.
The role's main responsibilities will include:
* The Project Engineer position is a hands-on role, and in addition to coordinating and executing project plans you will be required to undertake project tasks (e.g. purchase orders, plan maintenance, working with suppliers, drawing creation etc.)
* Maximum flexibility in terms of working hours and international travel.
* This role will encompass many different aspects of Test Development which include, but not restricted to: Test equipment evaluation (Off the shelf), In-Circuit Test Fixtures, Flash Test,
Test Jig/harnesses, PCBA Functional Test and High Power Functional Test.
* The main source of activity will be related to projects. Project will be allocated based on
workload and business requirements.
* Projects will be defined through a project brief which describes the business opportunity,
project description, benefits, potential risks and obstacles, budget and timescales, resources
and most importantly project deliverables
* Projects will be identified and agreed in advance at the point of commencement performance measures will be agreed.
* Formal weekly progress review with Global Test Development Manager
Qualifications, Experience and profile:
* Engineering Degree, or HNC with equivalent experience
* Experience in electrical systems and equipment design
* Working knowledge of project planning and maintenance
* Experience of leading projects and the ability to get things done
* Spoken and written English speaking, to a high level
This role would suit a graduate engineer currently working in manufacturing.
