Lyons Davidson is a national law practice of 38 partners and over 1200 staff, operating from principal offices in Bristol and offices in Solihull, Leeds, Surrey, Plymouth, Cardiff and London, with our associated practice in Edinburgh, Lyons Davidson Scotland LLP.
We are looking for two organised administrators to join our Client Reception Team. The team's role is to make contact with our new clients, take details about their claim, gather and prepare detailed information for use by lawyers and provide information about the legal process.
Your responsibility will be to provide administration support to the Client Reception Group in the Cardiff office. This will include printing and packing letters, allocating files, producing statistics and reports on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for inputting data using our in-house case management system and Microsoft excel and opening and distributing the department's incoming mail.
The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, be organised and able to prioritise. You will also need to be able to work to targets and cope well under pressure. An excellent telephone manner is preferred.
In terms of experience, you will have practical experience in an office environment, experience of working to targets and good PC skills.
A good standard of education including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent is essential.
The role will involve shift and weekend working but with the latest finish time of 21.00. Shifts will be discussed at interview.
