A well known name in independent television production based in central London
Reporting to the Head of Business Affairs, you will be part of a small team advising the business on matters relating to all aspects of television production and distribution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General drafting and negotiation of contracts including development, production, distribution and talent agreements.
- Giving ad hoc advice on issues facing television productions on a day-to-day basis.
- Advising on rights issues in connection with both current productions and catalogue.
- Drafting contracts relating to the general needs of the business.
Lawyer with at least one to three years PQE with experience in copyright and other IP related matters. Experience of TV production desirable. Good communicator. Commercial outlook. Highly organised, pragmatic and reliable. Self motivating but able to work as part of a small team. Good drafting skills and excellent attention to detail. The PQE identified on this advertisement is a guide only and does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
