Technical/Customer Support Advisors (In store)

Based in retail stores in Leeds.
You must be flexible to work any day of the week.
This position is with a large; continually expanding company whose innovative ideas have been instrumental in their
success. They are currently looking for experienced technically minded, customer focussed, IT professionals to join their
teams in stores based in Leeds.
A real genuine passion for technology and customer service is essential with a confident bubbly personality.
You will need:
* A Bubbly personality and a real passion for customer service.
* To have experience in a technical support role and customer service/retail skills.
* Knowledge of DOS, Windows 9x/ME/2000/XP/Vista or Mac OS X
* Knowledge in troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, software, operating systems and Internet connections
* City & Guilds (or equivelant) in Engineering
* Proficiency in software installations and upgrades
* Strong research and problem-solving capabilities
* Knowledge and experience of home technologies i.e Mobile Phones, Iphones, blackberry, laptops, wireless routers,
printers etc.
* To have a desire to share their knowledge, treating everyone in the store with absolute respect, courtesy and
professionalism.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Patience to deliver technical information in a non technical way
* A dedication to proving the best possible customer service
* Excellent problem solving skills, organisational and prioritising skills.
* A flexible attitude with a "nothing's too much trouble" approach.
* A real passion for technology and customer service.
The Role:
* To provide exceptional customer service, technical support and impartial advice to customers.
* To support a variety of operating systems, networks, Microsoft office programs and all technological peripherals such
as Iphones, laptops, printers etc.
* Assist customers within the store
* Provide initial contact with customers, plus check in products for service
* Perform basic testing to determine product needs and service solutions
* Facilitate in-store sales, upgrades, installations and service
* To be up to date with all home technology products.
* Troubleshoot and take ownership of queries and provide a resolution in store.
* Dealing with connectivity issues
* Working to strict S.L.A'S and ensuring they are adhered to
* To offer exceptional customer service and exceed the customers expectations at all times
* Deal with a variety of calls and queries from customers in a professional manner
* Ad hoc duties in store.
