CARETAKER/PREMISES MANAGER

COMMENCING: SEPTEMBER 2012

SALARY: D2



- Do you have:-

- A good standard of education (GCSE English/Maths)

- Knowledge of Health & Safety

- Knowledge of security systems and procedures

- Basic DIY skills and able to carry out a wide range of repair works

- First aid certificates

- A clean driver's licence

- Midas trained or PSV holder

- The ability to cope with moderate and occasional heavy lifting



The Hundred of Hoo School are looking to appoint a Caretaker/Premises Manager to work 37 hours per week over a 52 week period. The post holder will be based at The Hundred of Hoo School but maybe required to work at partner schools of The Williamson Trust.



You will be responsible for:-

- The school premises and grounds including opening and closing of the school

- The security, including evenings with breaches of security to be reported to the necessary authorities

- Meeting and attending to contractors visiting ad working on the site

- Assisting in maintaining a safe and clean environment, undertaking emergency cleaning tasks as required

- Assist with the lettings of the site and its buildings

- Assisting with the efficient working of heating plant and lighting, monitor fuel consumption and reorder were necessary

- Reading meters and maintaining approved records including any concerned with energy conservation

-The tidiness of paths drives and other hard surfaces within the site grounds

- Undertaking repairs, maintenance and decoration to furnishings and buildings
