Assistant HR Manager CIPD (6 month contract initially) for this regional role, covering the offices within London and the South East of a major international finance firm. It is essential you have worked within a matrix environment and also within a large professional services or finance based organisation. This is a generalist role covering performance management, reward, employee relations and dealing with complex HR issues. As Assistant HR Manager CIPD you will be responsible for working with the HR Manager to deliver an effective HR service to meet the strategic and operational needs of this business.
*Client group management including liaising with business lines
*Working with your HR Manager to use management information to identify trends and propose HR solutions to the business
*Policy and Process
*Advise the business on HR policies and processes in cases (e.g. sickness, grievance, disciplinary) involving complex medium/high risk issues
*Performance Management and Reward including remuneration
*Coach line managers on difficult conversations.
*Technical HR Coach (for at least one or two HR policy areas) and for others in HR
For this Assistant HR Manager (6 month contract) it is essential that you are CIPD qualified, have a number of HR Manager qualities and can demonstrate the potential to develop them as you gain further experience.
