Our exclusive client is a niche operator (SME) within the Hi-tech sector. Following a sustained period of success and development into new markets, they are now seeking a high-calibre Financial Controller to take on responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the Finance department. Reporting directly to the MD, the position encompasses all areas of financial control of business, accounting and administration, together with providing commercial support and critical decision-making. The successful applicant will have the ability to complete a wide array of tasks to a high standard and keep Senior Directors & stakeholders informed on what is happening with the business. This role is ideally suited to someone with post qualified experience and seeking to add value in a rapidly growing business. Duties will include: 3 reports including 2 qualified Accountants; strategic management of the overall finance function; sales/cash flow monitoring, forecasting and budgeting; project accounting; monthly billings forecasting; margin analysis; capacity planning; development of cost accounting and other financial models.
