A Management Accountant vacancy for qualified candidate available at short notice. Our client based on Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border is looking to recruit a qualified Accountant for a Management Accountant job. Reporting to the FD the successful person will be responsible for managing one direct report and will be responsible for the production of the management accounts. You will have overall responsibility for project accounting, revenue recognition and business unit reporting. This will include preparing insightful management information for different projects and business units and to report on any variations from budgets and forecasts. A key part of the job that a Management Accountant will really enjoy will be the business partnering element, as you will partner with the business operations to help them understand, evaluate and improve their overall business performance. There is opportunity for someone with good systems (ERP) skills to help optimise the capability of their current integrated system and help develop better process flows within the business. This is an interesting and varied job and there is an opening either on an interim to permanent basis or immediate start permanent. You will ideally be available on less than 2 weeks notice and will be a fully qualified Accountant with a proven track record within management accounting in a manufacturing business.
