Position Scope: This is an exciting new initiative to design Cloud solutions adapted to our customer business objectives.
Cloud Computing is the newest trend for next generation Data Center architectures for Cisco's largest clients who are
looking for consolidation, virtualization and automation of their complex data center functions. Cisco is looking for
senior IT experienced individuals which will be able to work with customer senior leadership teams and analyse the
customer's current environment and transform their business objectives into Cloud strategy adapted to the customer
maturity with a track record of turning strategies into a factual business cases and related journey into the cloud.
Strong consultancy skills and team spirit is a must for this position along with the ability to package deliverables into
repeatable services methodologies.

Position Responsibilities:

The Cloud Solution Architect will report directly into the Cloud Practice with primary responsibility for converting
customer objectives into a journey toward the Cloud by conducting analysis, customer interview's, creating high level
architectures, rollout plans, business cases. The Cloud Solution Architect's primary role is evaluating, architecting,
facilitate Cloud/DC workshop with senior customer management and work with sales business dev team to develop proposals
and presentations. Besides Excel and Powerpoint, the tools that the Cloud Solution architect should master are Togaf
and/or vendor solution architecture methodology like CSC Catalyst, HP ITSA or IBM GSM and have the capacity to mentor
project delivery. The position requires an individual to have a good understanding of Cloud Computing framework (IaaS,
PaaS, and SaaS), deployment models (Private, Public, and Virtual Private) and transformational planning. In addition,
this position requires an individual to understand overall Cisco Cloud offerings, Cisco Partner ecosystem and Cloud
market trend. Since this position will require on-site delivery including customer Workshop, Project management, POCs,
Production-Pilots and Production deployments, there will be a need for travel of 40-60%. Ideally, this position will be
based out of Cisco Europe location.

Experience/Skills: The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in consulting methodology and technical architecture.
He/She will demonstrate strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and
deliver projects in a timely manner, capable to build a strong relationship with customer and ability to multi-task and
prioritize.

* BMC: Atrium Orchestrator, BladeLogic Network and Server Automation, Atrium CMDB
* CA: UniCenter,
* EMC: Ionix family
* VMware: vCenter, Redwood
* IBM: Tivoli, Netcool
* HP: Opsware Network and Server Automation
Networking:
* Strong familiarity with TCP/IP, routing and switching protocols
* Cisco ANA
User Interface
* Windows: .NET windows user interface design, ASP.NET web design
* JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* NET, Java, PHP, ASP, ASP.NET, JavaScript
* Ajax toolkits

As such we are looking for least ten to fifteen years of experience with a track record of successful development and
delivery of integration projects.

Typically requires advance degree such as Master of Business Administration or equivalent with 10+ years relevant
experience.
