ROLE:
BMT Defence Services are currently looking for innovative and inspiring individuals who have the passion and drive to join their forward thinking team in the centre of Bath.

They are currently looking for a Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Systems Design Engineer to complement their existing project team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) From their design work on the new Royal Navy aircraft carrier to their recent design work on high profile projects such as the prestigious win as designer of the MARS Tanker, They are always at the forefront of engineering innovation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) HND/HNC and/or a first degree in appropriate discipline.
b) Understanding of issues pertaining to the prevention of fires on board ship and the design of shipboard fire fighting systems.
c) Knowledge of LR Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Naval Ships, and/or Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships and/or equivalent DNV Rules and Regulations.
You may have experience of the following: Mechanical Engineer, MoD, Defence, Electrical Engineer, Defect Investigation, Systems Design Engineer, Structural Engineer, Naval Architecture, Maintenance Review Engineer, Concession Management Engineer, Fire Fighting Engineer, Data Management Engineer, Combat Systems Engineer, Marine, ARM Engineer, Marine Platforms, Senior Naval Systems Design Engineer, Shipyard, Senior Marine Engineer, Warship, Submarine, Fire Prevention Systems Design Engineer, etc.
