The LogNEC programme is hiring for a Programme Administrator (Information Systems). The position will report to the Chief Engineer of the LogNEC program.
The primary duties are as follows:
* Gathers and maintains performance reporting data for Programme Management compilation and prepares and presents overall performance status reporting to the customer.
* Participates in strategic planning, customer consultation, and programme management meetings with the CIO, capturing key action, risk and issue items, and meeting minutes.
* Participates in development and implementation planning reviews and with direction from leadership develops planning and objectives presentations. (eg, long-range strategies, organisational goals, objectives and initiatives) to meet requirements.
* Develops executive level briefings and utilizes standard web based communication tools to enable global interaction/collaboration.
* Gathers data from multiple sources to compile or create a variety of complex reports (eg, periodic reviews, audit responses, budget and capital planning, metrics, documents) for management reviews and tracking performance to plan.
* Creates and delivers informational and/or technical materials such as proposals, briefings, management reviews, newsletters, status reports, brochures and technical papers to customers, partners, suppliers and Boeing employees.
* Gathers customer requirements (eg, major tasks, deliverables, feasibility, life cycle) for projects and ensures goals are aligned with company and organisation objectives.
* Develops and maintains project schedules. Monitors and tracks execution of the plan according to project schedules and communicates status to all project participants. In particular focuses on project schedule details for Information Systems and identifies schedule conflicts and issues which require resolution.
* Applies management strategic direction and communication to support content creation for activities such as web design and maintenance, computing security, communications, policy and procedure review, process documentation, asset management, forms design and delivery, etc and serves as representative/spokesperson for the organisation as directed by management.
* Assist in supporting the CIO to manage Information Services personnel, including general departmental management, and management of mixture of permanent, contractor and ex-pat staff, team skills, training, talent management, career development and general administration.
You should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:
* Excellent organisation skills with ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of accuracy.
* Experience of industry leading human resource management processes, including talent and skills management.
* Experience of working within a large multinational organization, and/or within the Defence sector, would be an advantage.
* Good general knowledge of the Information Systems industry, and how IT and software application development and support environments operate.
* Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel, Projects, Word, Outlook, Webex.
* Team work is essential as is building strong working relationships across multiple functions.
* Ability to influence challenging senior stakeholders.
* Appreciation of project management principles.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
* Do you have current legal authorisation to work in the EU?
Typical Education/Experience:
Preferably qualified to degree level, experience and involvement in project management would be desirable, as would knowledge of Microsoft Project. Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position is located in Bristol, UK. Some travel will be required. Important information regarding this requisition: This requisition is for an international, locally hired position.
