A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Law Firm in the City, as a Legal Cashier. You will be working within the accounts team as a Legal Cashier and will be responsible for:
- Ensuring transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner;
- Inputting client and office receipts;
- Banking to include going to the bank;
- Producing office and client cheques;
- Allocating and processing of TT/BACS receipts and payments;
- Daily bank reconciliation for office and client - all currencies, euros, dollars, sterling;
- Deposits;
- Petty Cash, paying and reconciling;
- Client to office transfers;
- Interest calculations;
- Partners expenses;
- Credit card payments;
- Dealing with telephone/email queries;
- Admin tasks to include Filing.
You must have a minimum of 2+ years experience as a Legal Cashier with a proven track within a Law Firm and full knowledge of solicitors accounts rules. Knowledge of Keystone, Aderant and Excel would put you at a distinct advantage.
