Semiconductor Field Service Engineer

Are you looking for an opportunity to travel and work on the latest in semiconductor equipment technology? Are you interested in working on Back-End manufacturing tools?

Our clients is a growing manufacturer of back-end semiconductor tools and require more FSE's to support the growing client base, and demand for their equipment. Given the technology is not common in Europe - they are highly considering experienced FSE's and Equipment engineers from a front end tool background.

The successful candidate will be required to -
* Travel to client sites, mainly in the Far East, to assist with installations, upgrades, maintenance and training. (20-25% per year)
* When based in Germany, support the production floor with assembly, test, and sign off.
* Represent your company at client sites as a first point of contact.
* Respond to urgent client requirements at short notice. (such as a tool downtime)

The successful candidate will have the following -
* Strong engineering skills in electrical, micro-mechanical, pneumatic [etc] maintenance.
* Existing experience maintaining capital equipment from the semiconductor industry.
* Existing experience as a Field Service engineer, or travelling engineer, would be preferred - but is not required
* Fluent English is a must - German languages skills would be beneficial.
* HND in Physics or Engineering; equivalent or better.
