Database Developer

Livingston, West Lothian

The successful candidate for this role will have experience of Oracle development in SQL/PLSQL (10g & 11g); Datamodelling (Logical/Physical) using a E-R modelling tool; SQL Tuning; UNIX Scripting; Database Object/Code Version Control and Release.

Due to our ambitious plans, we're currently looking for an experienced Database Developer to join this successful team and add real value. The main purpose of your role will be to provide Oracle database expertise to support the Customer Interaction Management application/service components.

Key Responsibilities will include the following;

+ Gathering data requirements and formulation into database deliverables.
+ Deliver high quality database design/development components to support new functionality.
+ Participate in the implementation and improvement of database team procedures and standards.
+ Support database build/release life cycle.
+ Offer SQL review/tuning expertise to non-database development teams.
