Our client is a well - established consultancy, UKAS accredited dealing with safety solutions that is hygiene, health and safety, environmental and asbestos risk management services and due to on-growth of the business, they are currently seeking to employ a Head of Fire Risk
Duties will entail:
Overseeing and undertaking fire risk assessments and audits in a wide variety of industry sectors - commercial, industrial and residential. The work will involve preparation of fire safety management systems. Fire plan drawings, fire drills, delivery of fire training courses, fire warden, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings, etc. Consultancy, enforcement liaison, managing and developing a team of fire risk assessors, training of new staff, client meetings & business development. Overall, you will be flexible, have good communication skills, both written and verbal, have good computer skills and have the ability to work independently.
Min requirements - NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion IFSM/IFPO/IFE. Minimum Membership Status IFSM/IFE/IFPO and registered with one of the recognised Registers of Fire Safety Practitioners. Our client will pay up to £45,000 for the right candidate who will ideally hold the CMIOSH qualification.
