IP Design Engineer
A Global brand within Telecommunications are looking to recruit an IP Design Engineer to assist network evolution for its customers. As an IP Design Engineer you will be capturing requirements directly from the customer, implement solutions that meet the requirements and then deliver the proposed solution as 'fit for purpose'.
Your required responsibilities as an IP Design Engineer will be:
-Design and implementation of IP Routing, Switching and Security solutions.
-Creating, Reviewing and / or approving HLDs, LLDs, Detailed Designs, Statements of requirements etc.
-Effectively communicate potential benefits and risks of proposals
-Provide training, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance guides to Operations Team
-Provide occasional 4th Line Support to the Operations Team
As an accomplished IP Design Engineer you will have the following essential skills
-Understanding of the life cycle of the network design. From requirement capture to Implementation
-Knowledge of Firewalls, Policy-Based-Security or OSPF and NAT
-Be familiar with Cisco Routers, Nokia PIX and ASA Firewalls
-Qualified to CCIE level with CCSP and CISSP also
