Corporate Finance Solicitor - Newcastle

Leading Newcastle firm with an immediate requirement for a Corporate Finance Solicitor (NQ - 3 years PQE)

Our client is a leading national firm with a well-earned reputation for helping their clients succeed. Offering a range of commercial law services, they have significant nationwide coverage providing first class legal advice.

They are currently recruiting a talented and ambitious Solicitor to join their highly regarded Corporate Finance team in Newcastle to help build their portfolio of clients and to assist the future development of the team.

The successful candidate will have experience dealing with Acquisitions & Disposals and Management Buy-outs & Venture Capital transactions. Some public sector company experience is desirable, but not essential.

You should have good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

You should also possess both the ability to work with minimal supervision on appropriate deals and to work as part of a team on larger transactions.

Good organisational skills and time management are essential to this role along with the flexibility required to provide solutions quickly and meet tight deadlines which are typical in important transactions.

You will also be expect to assist in winning new work for the team and identifying further opportunities for business development. Therefore this is the perfect role for an ambitious person, eager to drive your own success and that of the team with a willingness to undertake new challenges.
