PROJECT SALES ENGINEER - NE - 35-40k + vehicle, benefits and bonus

The Opportunity

This is an excellent career opportunity, for an experienced sales engineer / sales manager to work for a global engineering and manufacturing company, with blue chip clients within the mining, aerospace, oil and gas, industrial and logistics industries.

Main Duties
* Interpretation of customer requirements and the production of accurate and on-time quotations, in line with company procedures. Help to develop and promote the company policies and strategies.
* Visit clients and close sales opportunities regularly.
* Manage quotations in a competent and professional manner and ensure adequate follow up where necessary.
* Ensure orders are expedited regularly and lead-time information is accurate.
* To develop open and constructive working relationships with all colleagues.

Experience Required

* Applicants should have a proactive sales approach as this will be solution based selling of engineering applications.
* Have a sound understanding of cables ,MV and LV circuits and how they are implemented in industry.
* Ideally have knowledge of crane commissioning and construction either via OEM, Ports ,Steel industry, Offshore rig or Waste transfer.
* Hold a formal engineering based qualification preferably Electrical/ Degree and have an in depth understanding of electrical schematics.
