Area Sales Manager / Trainee Area Sales Manager - North West England - Specification Sales Construction Industry - Electronic products and Accessories - North West England Territory

Package: Salary circa 25k Plus Car Commission and Benefits - Depending On Experience

Our Client is an established and successful manufacturer of inter com systems and related electrical accessories installed in residential, commercial, public sector buildings either refurbished or new builds.
The company occupies a premium position in its market place and is well respected for its quality products, bespoke design capability and pre and post sales support.

Products are sold through specification channels. Demand is created by influencing architects, interior designers, M&E Contractors, builders, developers, NHS Budget Managers etc. to specify company products into the building projects that they may be dealing with.

Products are not supplied through retail or distribution channels.
The company requires a North West Territory Area Sales Manager with existing experience or a Trainee Area Sales manager who will be mentored / trained to achieve full area sales manager status.
Candidate will already hold or be interested in developing a career in sales, posses electrical training, some knowledge of tendering processes be working in a related field for example HVAC, Electrical Wholesaler distributor or installer.
This candidate needs to be able to network heavily with key decision makers in various construction projects and influence by selling specific niche electrical products as part of the construction budget. The candidate needs to be able to get fully involved in the tendering process, especially within the Healthcare/ medical Sector, NHS Trust etc.

The candidate will be required to carry out in depth territory research and fully understand competitors market position, allowing them to penetrate the full area and understand capacity for sales.
The area of responsibility is the North West England, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Preston
