Fixings Field Engineer - Global Construction Fixings & Anchors Brand
London & Home Counties Based - Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Hertfordshire, Essex
OTE £40,000 plus Car, Mobile, Laptop

World leading fixings manufacturer to the construction industry is seeking a Technical Field Engineer to:

> To target and develop technical fixing solutions for the Construction industry, ensuring the brand is well recognised.

> Develop, build and maintain strong professional relationships with the engineers, specifiers and major end users.

> Promote the company by offering and conducting CPD seminars to engineers, specifiers and major end users.


Field Technical Field Engineer Duties:

> Communicate professionally with Project Engineers, Contractors & chosen supply chain managers, by phone and face to face.

> Develop and maintain effective relationships with the key customer groups offering an effective "point of contact" position for all technical issues

> Submit structural calculations and project tenders with detailed pricing ensuring correct specification is met.

> Be commercially aware, able to develop and secure new business

> Maintain client database, including records of all correspondence & specifications submitted

> Provide professional advice on fixing application at site including Tool Box talks, practical demonstrations and anchor testing.

> Provide technical support to the Sales team and their customers

Required Skills:

> Educated in a construction or mechanical engineering related discipline, to a minimum of Degree or at least HND level.

> Commercially aware engineer with ability to secure new and further develop existing fixing business.

> Self-motivated, reliable, persistent and thorough, well organised with an excellent customer focus

> Confident providing solutions on one to one basis and also via formal presentations using our software, for which training will be given.

> Fully IT conversant with excellent written and verbal skills to be able to liaise with people at all levels.

Sales Engineer, Fixings Field Engineer.
