My Client is seeking an experienced electrical engineer with specific experience in connection of generators to networks and to design substations (Knowledge of the OFTO process would be an advantage).
The Role - Senior Power Systems Engineer ( electrical engineer, power, generator, OFTO)
The role will involve being a valuable member of a team who will produce work for the power and energy industries.
You will get involved in engineering design/advice, which may include power system studies, analysis and design, specification writing, site surveys and inspections.
Skills required for the role - Senior Power Systems Engineer ( electrical engineer, power, generator, OFTO)
A minimum of degree qualification in Electrical Engineering with up to 5 years experience in the industry.
Ideally you will be chartered or have the drive to achieve you chartership.
Experience in managing a small team of engineers including the project teams as well as management of electrical engineering projects within transmission and distribution.
Experience of health and safely, a recognised qualification in this area would be an advantage.
This position will require occasional travel to African and Asian nations to work on our client's projects. Ability to speak other language(s) will be an advantage.
