DB Access Database Application Developer (VBA)

My client currently requires a DB Acess Database Application Developer for a role based in Brussels, Belgium. Due to this candidates must be eligible for work in the EU. In addition, candidates must be able to speak both English and French in a fluent manner. Rates on offer are between the 550-600 per day bracket.

Job Summary:
Maintenance of existing and development of new end user applications in DB access
Description of the activities to perform:
1. participate in a project to review existing and to develop new end user access databases
2. user requirement gathering and analysis
3. set up new databases
4. maintenance and evolution of existing databases
5. coordinate and communicate with the end user and the project leader
6. provide documentation

Job Requirements:
Expert end user computing in VBA Access
At least 5 years experience
Business (functional) experience required
Preferably Finance/Credit Risk experience
Handling of complex databases in access Microsoft Office VBA, Access, Excel
Preferably Business Objects experience
Excellent communication and coordination skills. Pro-active Strong logical and analytical mind. Strong feeling for structuring and organisation Work in systems based environment Team player

Language requirements
English written & spoken: Very Good
French written & spoken: Fluent
