Job Description
Hyperion Reports - Tech Lead
The role has the following specific responsibilities
Architect and develop solutions that will meet business requirements Participate in the detailed design, development, testing, and deployment of the architectures
Conduct technical reviews and walkthrough of system design documentation with other development and design team members.
Coach other Essbase developers

Technology Skills
Development and Support experience on Hyperion
Hyperion Reports - Good development experience on Hyperion Interactive
Reports (Brio) and Hyperion Web Analysis reports
Hyperion Essbase - Design & Build ASO/BSO cubes. Exp in Calc scripts
Ability to Install the application in high availability environments
Very good UNIX/Solaris Knowledge (including troubleshooting of Essbase processes (core dumps)
Good relational DB Knowledge (Oracle, SQL)
Deep Knowledge of Essbase ASO DB tuning, MDX-query tuning, Perl module is a plus, MAXL Scripting, JAVA API is a plus, Very good design skills Experience with huge cubes (100 GB +)
Essbase security concept (LDAP, shared services) is a plus Experience in Java, XML is a plus
Banking know-how is a plus

Additional skills preferred but not mandatory
Experience in report upgrade from pre 9x version to the latest Hyperion Fusion edition v11.1.1.3
Work experience on Hyperion fusion edition
Educational qualification Engineering Degree
Experience Level 8 - 10 years (Overall IT/Hyperion)
Hyperion certification will be preferred but not mandatory

Other Skills
Basic querying & database skills
BI/Data Warehousing implementation experience
Strong interpersonal/communication skills Good skills in English, German is a plus.
