Core and VAS Design Engineer

A leading Telecommunications company is looking for a Core and VAS Design Engineer to join its Berkshire based team on a contractual basis.
The Core and VAS Design Engineer will:
*Responsible for delivering Packet and Circuit Switched Core design solutions
*Delivery of Packet and Circuit Core KPIs as agreed
*Build relationships with key suppliers and vendors driving an environment of shared responsibility and co-operation. Be a point of escalation for resolution of day to day vendor/supplier issues.
*Provide input to the Design & Implementation work
*Evaluation, of new software releases into the packet and circuit core networks
The Core and VAS Design Engineer will have:
*Good Knowledge of NSN packet Switched Core elements including: Combi SGSN's GGSN's and Flexi NG
*Experience of design and project delivery of Telco platforms / applications/ services
*Good knowledge of GSM/UMTS, MTP, SCCP, NUP / UK-IUP, ETSI & UK ISUP, ETSI Core INAP, GSM MAP, GSM CAP (Camel), GSM BSSAP
*Good Knowledge of MTP, SCCP, NUP / UK-IUP, ETSI & UK ISUP, ETSI Core INAP, GSM MAP, GSM CAP (Camel), GSM BSSAP
