We have a rare an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Operations Manager to join the market leader within the temporary hire and accommodation sector. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who has managed a team of 20-30 tradesmen within the construction, temporary accommodation or facilities sectors. Ideally you will be educated to degree level and be comfortable in being hands on whilst making tactical decisions which drive performance in areas of productivity and efficiency, all within a production context. You would also need to have knowledge of Lean, TPS or an equivalent methodology and be competent in areas of Health and Safety and continuous improvement. Above these technical skills you will also be experienced in the management of people within areas such as performance and appraisals. In summary this role which reports directly to the General Manager has an overall focus on improving the day to day running of the operations for the company's largest depot in the UK with the view to ensuring that it meets its potential of becoming the largest singular site in Europe.
