Director of Information Technology & Information Management
Reporting to the CEO the Director of Information Technology and Information Management (IT&IM) will lead an Information Technology and Information Management strategy that supports organizational priorities and strategic objectives. The Director of IT & IM is responsible for the management of multiple information and communications systems and projects, including voice, data, imaging, video and business automation. A member of the Health Region's senior management team, the Director of IT & IM also participates in the development and execution of strategic plans to optimize the use of information technology in support of health care and business objectives.
Ideal candidates possess a strong foundation of at least ten increasingly senior years of experience in managing functions and departments, dealing with information handling, work flow and systems. They have earned a Master's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration and have a progressive approach to leadership and collaboration in a complex IT environment. Candidates with a related Bachelor's degree and outstanding experience or skills in the health care sector will also be considered.
