The General Industries Group (GIG) is amongst the largest sector groups within the firm, covering a broad range of industries, including automotive, chemicals, industrials, family businesses and professional services, amongst others. In this role you will develop and drive the strategic BD plan: optimising existing relationships and proactively researching and targeting new ones.

Supported by a BD executive, key responsibilities will incorporate business planning and review, pitch leadership and internal / external relationship development. Alongside this hands-on work a high level of market awareness and analysis is required: monitoring client and market developments, new entrants, competitive analyses and financial analyses and tracking fee deals across the sector.

Due to the high level of analysis we are therefore seeking a strong communicator and skilled researcher with a strong track record of managing business development in another professional services firm or blue-chip organisation. A strong academic record and clear career progression to date are highly desirable.
