Mobile Building Services Engineer - Cambridge - £29,000 per year

My client is one of the largest FM and Building Services providers in the UK and urgently require a mobile building services engineer to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of banking/retail sites across Peterborough and Cambridge.

The right candidate willbe available to work Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 and will be available tow ork on a call out rota. Duties will include, but may not be limited to PPM and reactive maintenance of a variety of equipment including:

- Boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables,
- Batteries, small power and lighting
- Critical & Comms Room systems
- Doors, Locks

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills/attributes:

- Experience of mobile PPM and reactive maintenance in a similar role within critical business or corporate office environments
- Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on the equipment mentioned above
- Apprenticeship trained or hold equivalent electrical City & Guilds qualifications
- 17th edition
- In depth knowledge of mechanicall PPM and reactive maintenance
- L8
- Full driving licence (no more the 3 penalty points)
- Excellent client facing & communication skills

Skills/attributes that would be preferred, but are no essential include:

- Previous HV experience
- Any mechanical City & Guilds qualifications
- Boiler maintenanc experience

Remuneration

In return you will receive

- £29,000 salary
- 1 year fixed term contract (possibility for extention or conversation to permanent at conclusion)
