PROJECT ENGINEER - AUTOMATION SYSTEMS to 40K

Our client has a unique software product portfolio for projects related to multi-product terminal automation and SCADA systems in the Oil and Gas market place. They also specialise in upgrading business and automation systems. Established for over 40 years they continue to be at the leading edge of technology and are sought after to work with global leaders in the provision of pipeline and terminal services.

Position: Project Engineer (Automotion)
Location: Wiltshire
Salary: 30 - 40k Depending on experience


ROLE:
As a result of a sustained period of growth our client is looking for Project Engineers to join their UK team of experts based in Wiltshire. The team designs, configures and deploys systems that manage everything from equipment operations, inventory control and accounting at fuel depots.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
a) Providing technical support to the team.
b) Managing assigned projects from start to finish.
c) Working closely with customers in the UK and internationally

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) A working knowledge of database application configuration, continuous process and/or batch control applications.
b) Knowledge of serial and network communications interface to peripherals is essential.
c) A proven track record with DCS systems, PLCs or other related equipment.
