The client is a highly recognised product design & development company that pioneer in the development of technically advanced products to meet consumer needs.

The established manufacturing organisation are looking to appoint a number of additional design engineers with different experience levels to become an instrumental part of their engineering team.

Your over all responsibility will differ slightly with experience level, however the fundamental skills required and job role can be seen below.

Main scope of role:

You will be responsible for innovative new concept design and further development of their existing technical capability. Projects will vary and will encompass full product life cycle development from functional design specification through design, prototyping, testing and market launch, thus making this a truly interesting and varied opportunity.

Experience Required:

- You will already have some experience of mechanical product design, both concept and detailing
- Experience of 3D CAD
- Experience of liaising with tooling and manufacturing engineering
- Background in plastic injection moulding essential
- Degree qualified or similar in mechanical engineering, product design or related subject

The company have many different project teams in place and there is good scope to be involved in a range of different technologies.
