Our client is a multi-national filtration company that specialise in providing air-filtration systems and dust management systems to the food and manufacturing industry. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a technical sales manager to help drive the business forward. The history has been established for over 50 years and has a very stable footing and large market share within its sector. The company is cash rich and offers a good working environment and career progression for top performing candidates
The Role
* Ensure that turnover & gross profit targets are achieved and that controllable costs are maintained & remain within budget
* Calling on existing customers within the food industry and additionally develop new clients.
* Preparing detailed quotations and customer proposals based on engineering solutions and the Service dept personnel resource.
* The role involves surveying existing ventilation systems and AHU equipment, recommending upgrades, modernization, and turnkey air movement - duct work solutions in line with current industry standards.
* To develop an all round expertise in air quality management within the food industry and manage the day to day key account contractual service requirements through technical relationship building.
* The role will involve close working relationships with the FEL Projects & Service Departments as well as other FFT based market segments. A healthy and open dialogue is required to fuel growth across the whole of the UK business.
* The successful candidate will have excellent key account management skills in technical relationship building in order to retain and expand growth, as many customers are of a group based orientation.
* Comply with our company's policies, procedures and work instructions. Ensuring all work activities are carried out in compliance with current HSE, and Customer Environmental, Health and Safety Standards.
* Provide information on market intelligence in order to assist in determining the future market direction, in the UK and assist in upholding & developing corporate and market strategy.
