Job Title: Drivetrain Systems Engineer
Location: Essex
Rate: 26.00ph - 29.00ph Ltd Co (dependant on experience)

Position Description:
*Manual Transmission and Drivetrain systems Engineer responsible for creation of System Design specification (SDS) for transmission and driveline systems, Compilation of performance of Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) and writing and performance of test procedures and validation plans for automotive systems and components

Skills Required:
*Solid knowledge of Manual Transmission and External Controls Design
*Good analytical and systematic thinking skills
*Self-starter - works on own initiative
*Team player and someone who can show a professional behaviour in their relationship with suppliers

Skills Preferred:
*Microsoft Applications - Word, Project, Powerpoint, Excel
*WERs, AIMs, G8D, AVBOM, 6Sigma etc

Experience Required:
*Experience of NVH driveline systems - influencing factors, assessment tools and techniques, reviewing data and interpretation.
*Co-ordination of target setting processes
*Compilation and performance of Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis

Education Required:
*BSC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant degree

Education Preferred:
*MSc in Mechanical Engineering
