Job Purpose and Summary

Responsible for the planning, localisation, implementation and measurement of both Pan European Consumer Imaging communication campaigns. Responsible for the development and implementation of local tactical campaigns aligned to European Communication strategy

Responsibilities and Tasks

Working with the Corporate & Marketing Communication Manager and key stakeholders plan all Consumer Imaging campaigns, messaging and actions that directly support the business group objectives. Aligned to the Pan European (PE) communication strategy develops, implement and measure local tactical campaigns against immediate business needs. Work with UK National Sales Office (NSO) stakeholders and local agencies to implement both PE and local tactical campaigns across all target channels and to all target segments. Measure and report the results of both PE campaigns and local tactical campaigns. For PE campaigns tasks to include: Support the campaign creative process by providing campaign feedback to the Corporate Marketing Communications Team at Canon Europe Ltd (CEL). Mange the briefing of local agencies for localization and implementation services. Develop media plans with media agencies. Manage campaign performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). For local tactical campaigns tasks to include: Manage the sign off and approval process with CEL. Manage the campaign creative process in line with CEL direction. Manage the briefing of local agencies. Manage the development of imagery, messaging and copy. Track the delivery of final localized campaign assets against Quality Control Deliverables (QCDs). Manage and track campaign performance against KPIs. Manage project budgets relating to deliverables. Support the Corporate & Marketing Communication Manager with campaign expertise / opinion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven campaign experience. Educated to degree level or equivalent. Can work effectively with all internal stakeholders and external agencies. Self motivated, pragmatic with a high level of initiative and drive to succeed. Ability to plan and organise workload effectively to meet required deadlines.
