Junior Engineer

Our client is a leading world class systems and engineering technology consultancy. As one of the UK's biggest providers of systems and engineering technology with nearly 440 permanent employees at seven UK sites they provide independent, impartial advice to their customers in the defence and civil sectors. They have a requirement for a highly qualified Junior Engineer with some relevant experience to be based in their Dorchester office.

This position for a Junior Engineer will provide the opportunity to work on a wide range of varied projects in a number of industry sectors such as aerospace, rail, automotive, defence and power generation.

The successful Junior Engineer will have the following skills, experience and knowledge -
An excellent Engineering degree with 1-2 years of post-degree experience in a relevant discipline
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to learn quickly
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A good understanding of one or more of -
Systems Engineering
Safety Management
Software Development
