Web / Sharepoint Developer required by a leading international law firm of 2000+ users.
You will join the firms growing Knowledge Management Team responsible for the using the latest technologies including SharePoint 2010), intranet, knowhow and document automation systems to deliver advanced knowledge services to the firm. The team is responsible for Global Knowledge Management initiatives, maintenance of knowledge communities across the firm and the full lifecycle development of new systems.
As a Web / Sharepoint Developer you will have a range of duties including:-
* Use a range of IT tools to develop and maintain the department's Knowledge systems including SharePoint 2010, HTML, CSS, ASP and SQL
* Analyse requirements as part of the on-going development of the intranet, manage the delivery of the new functionality
* Participate in a range of innovative global Knowledge Management project
* Train users in the use of developed solutions
* Analyse requirements as part of the on-going development of the intranet, manage the delivery of the new functionality working closely
* Plan and co-ordinate testing of new releases and code changes to the core products and other related software tools
This is an incredibly varied, client facing and visible role working with a global users base of partners, lawyers, secretaries etc.
As Web / Sharepoint Developer, your core skills should include a combination of Sharepoint 2007 / 2010, HTML, CSS, SQL and ASP. Any exposure to C# / .Net as well as document management systems is highly beneficial.
This is ideally suits a Web / Sharepoint Developer with some exposure to SharePoint seeking a more varied position involving full lifecycle development in a more business focussed role.
