Marketing / Publicity Manager (Publishing), to £32k

Position: Marketing Manager
Location: Richmond, Surrey
Salary: Up to £32k

ROLE:
This is an exciting and varied role. The Marketing Manager is responsible for:
a) Creating and successfully implementing tactical marketing plans for all books, on time and to budget.
b) Developing marketing plans and driving sales growth at Amazon and the Book Depository.
c) Developing marketing plans and driving sales growth of ebooks.
d) Analysing sales data to help ongoing strategy.
e) Creating professional, persuasive and attractive sales material.
f) Strengthening our client's books' and authors' presence on social networks.
g) Event planning (London and Frankfurt Book Fair and other trade shows as required).
h) The day to day running of the marketing department and management of junior staff.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
a) You must have 3+ year's marketing experience in publishing (books/magazines etc).
b) Experience and expertise in running successful publicity campaigns.
c) Experience and expertise in digital marketing.
d) A keen eye for design for catalogues, sales sheets and book jackets.
e) A passion for books and an enthusiasm for our client's core subject areas.
f) A friendly, outgoing nature and a positive can-do attitude.
